Saving Seas
These porcelain vessels by Katherine Morley were designed to replace the live coral we use in fish tanks (which quickly die) to stop the destruction of coral reefs. They can also be used as vases or decorative pieces outside the aquarium. Beautiful!

Apartment in Gothenburg
By Alvhem Mäkleri & Interiör. I love interior design in Sweden. I am especially in love with the bed. It is to die for! I would add curtains to it though. To make it extra magical (and more private).

"Green Shower"
Designed by Rami Tareef. Apparently this is very green because: “1. A flexible LCD screen that notifies the user as to the temperature of the water. Silly? Nay! Lots and LOTS of people turn the shower on and wait for it to reach optimum heat. In this process is the liter waster. Be more precise with this right here. 2. A 24V DC generator to make use of the water as it flows from your...

Shower Vortex?
I’m not sure how I feel about this mosaic… I wouldn’t imagine it to be a particularly relaxing shower experience. And it just doesn’t really go with the rest of the interior.

Couldn't Help Myself...
If I were a month, I’d be December. If I were a day of the week, I’d be Wednesday. If I were a time of day, I’d be 10:19PM. If I were a planet, I’d be Saturn because of all my rings. If I were a sea animal, I’d be a deep sea octopus. If I were a direction, I’d be East. If I were a piece of furniture, I’d be an old oak Italian Dreamland bed. If I were a liquid, I’d be ALEX MACK. Physalia
“Physalia physalis,” which supposedly means “water bubble” (in whatever language), is a giant eco design project from Vincent Callebaut Architects. It’s like a floating garden which is supposed to navigate the rivers of Europe, cleaning it and making the water drinkable. Strange. But awesome. More here.
